AHhhhh.....  No tremors, landslides, falling objects? Great! Even the air is reasonably clean today. Although the ol' Tum is a wreck, but that's an everyday thing.  :-)

Saw Breaking Dawn 2. Awesome as expected. I may even see it again! They did the book proud!

WoW! This year has flown by & I still feel like I've done nothing.I have managed to change my music. The girls are keeping up. My newest class are returnees from 10 mos. ago. I'll have to find some good stretches to ease the kinks from these desk workers. :-)  Sorry to say I'll have to figure out a way to fit RAQS into that awful Gang Nam Style dance. YUCK!!!  But that's what's popular now. SIGH!

Still fighting with the computer. Sometimes the apps work, sometimes not. Good way to off the deep end. Can't complain to much. I can study on it.  :-((

Spoke to my eldest ON HER Birthday. So good to hear her voice....but something's up & she won't talk.  Nothing changes much......

DRAT!! Don't use Le Ker Cholesterol relaxer. It strips the hair. Organic Root Stimulator Relaxer works so much better than the rest of the stuff on the market. Motions was fair, & I've tried to use other alternatives, & get burned every time. There's no more Wella Cholesterol to repair the hair. WHY do they always discontinue the really great ones? Had a great ionic conditioner out here, & that's gone too.
Now I'll have to keep it in 1001 braids till it grows out a bit.

And that's pretty much what I've done with my year.  Hope the New Year brings you all your expectations.

Hay Y'all! The end of the year is near & so are the classes. One new one to open...so far. Waiting on 5 more. Time will tell  ; ^D

Basmah el Enabrim • I know Brandy from FB, and her Brilliant sense of humor! I imagine it must be very diificult teaching Middle Eastern Dance in Asia, because the ideal feminine body is so different. Examle, I always wanted to grow up to be Asian, and have a willowy frame, graceful slim hips, and look dynamite in a cheongsam! I have 2 cheongsams, custom made. which I have passed down to my niece. Gone are the days when I weighed 105!

LOL. Nope. I am stuck with the big bust , belly and backside that comes with my DNA.
Teaching in Asia must be hard, first because of the cultural norm, that Ladies do not swing their hips, let alone shake them up for shimmies.
Then getting students to 'let go' of their bodies in order to free up the isolations shimmies and muscle discipline, must be very hard.

Hats off to you Brandy! I've seen photos of your Troupe and they are Beautiful! Any chance you will post a video, or have one onYouTube we might see? I teach many Asian women, and it is Not an easy job, for the reasons I cited above.

Fawzea'a latest insanity coming July 27th. 3 classes will join to do a performance.  It's my own version of Hagalla. Dead easy for beginners, but still a bit of a stretch to put it all together. LoL!  Our "back up"  girls have only started for a few weeks. Some have done ONE show & some will be their first time in a show. May We All Hobble In On Crutches!

I....will attempt to do a Shamadan Solo. Best of luck to me...never tried it before.  ;^D  Lots of pix will be posted...I hope no BLOOPERS.
